Our team members that make up of field crews are Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic, Intermediates and Basics. We are regulated by both the State of North Dakota and the State of Minnesota. All team members are licensed in both States. All 9-1-1 calls are answered at two separate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAPs) & relayed to us via radio or telephone. We have 24-hour dispatch that utilizes Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software. We utilize system status management (SSM) to post our ambulance units throughout the area. We work closely with area first responders and law enforcement. Many of our team members are involved in EMS not only by providing excellent patient care but also by serving on boards, committees, & organizations at the local, state, and national levels. ReadyWheels, another service provided by F-M Ambulance, is a special transportation service. This service is available from approximately 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week to provide door to door wheelchair service to provide local or distant transfers. We also have a dedicated full time education department. The Emergency Medical Education Center at F-M Ambulance educates hundreds of individuals each year in courses including: CPR, First Aid, AED, EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic, ACLS, PALS, CEVO and many more.
