This new program includes all AHA guidelines and updates for ACLS. The software also contains accredited continuing education modules for the experienced healthcare provider. Participants purchase a CDROM and install the software at home. They then have 32 hours (non-continuous) to complete the usual ACLS cases and a written test. After successful completion of the written exam, a certificate is printed. Participants then call to set up an appointment for a practical skills test. The skills test takes an average of 30-45 minutes.
