CTC Instructor Update Information

As many of you may have heard, there have been some major changes in CPR lately.  As a member of the F-M Ambulance Service CTC, you are responsible for bringing this new information to your classes and presenting it to them correctly.  To understand the new information, you will need to watch a webcast, which can be found at http://americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=3055324.  Please watch this webcast, which will tell you about the new CPR and how to implement the new rules into your classroom.

Things to pay particular attention to:

- Who should do the "hands-only" CPR

- Who can we do the "hands-only" CPR on

- How to implement these new guidelines into your instruction (when to talk about "hands-only" CPR in class)

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us at any time.

As of today, you must submit your rosters online.  You should have received information in the mail about the how to do this, or you can watch the video link below.  This will help eliminate name spelling errors and shorten the time it takes for you to receive your cards.  If you choose to send your paper roster in without entering it in the database, you will be charged a $30.00 administrative fee per roster, plus the price of cards.

If you have any other questions, comments, or suggestions on this page or the CTC, please let Scott know. (scott.helmer@fmambulance.com)

Watch a short instructional video about entering rosters into the database.
