Application Procedures

APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 1

No Application will be considered until it is complete. 

Admission Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age;

  • High school diploma or equivalent;

  • Current national or accepted state EMT-Basic certification;

  • Valid drivers license;

  • Clear criminal history;

  • Successful completion of admission procedures; and the

  • Ability to meet technical standards of the program.

Admission Procedures

  • Apply to North Dakota State College of Science - online at NDSCS Application Page

    • Submit official copies of any college transcripts.  If you have less than 24 college credit hours (or haven't attended college), you also need to submit an official high school transcript.  Have schools send transcripts directly to NDSCS Admissions.

    • Supply NDSCS with ACT or SAT score.  Some students may also be required or be able to substitute a COMPASS test.  Check the NDSCS application website for details.

  • Print the F-M Ambulance Program Application Checklist

    • Print and complete an application form.

    • Print form and submit a $100 fee for a background check.

    • Submit a copy of your National Registry EMTB card and/or state license.

    • Proof of Immunizations - which includes: MMR, HepB, Tetanus (within 10 years), and a Tb test (within 1 year)
